We started supporting the members of the Ternopil Separate Rifle Battalion of the National Police in 2024, when the battalion was formed. However, cooperation with the Ternopil Regional Directorate of the National Police has been ongoing within Team 4 Ukraine since 2017 - members of the association worked with police officers until the beginning of the war, for example, on projects related to human trafficking, violence against children, creating a crime map, and others.
In 2024, with the help of our members, we trained more than 150 police officers in combat first aid. We were able to equip each member with an IFAK (personal first aid kit) and we delivered 5 medical backpacks for paramedics.
In 2025, we continued our assistance, gradually during the year we supplied the battalion members with 2 ambulances, an SUV category vehicle, 20 EcoFlow battery stations, 15 medical backpacks, generators, medical supplies to supplement the medical backpacks, and 2 mobile vital signs monitors.
Since October 2025, we have also started supporting the Ternopil veterans' association "Unbreakable in Spirit", which brings together disabled and wounded police officers from the Ternopil Independent Rifle Police Battalion who were wounded during their service on the front line and elsewhere.
The association helps police officers with their integration back into normal life. One of the types of activity is a workshop where ex-police officers make drones for their colleagues in combat and for other police units that perform tasks on the front line.
